Mi Mundo has operated since 2019, caps at 10 children, and serves ages 2.5-5. Mi Mundo Childcare Centre provides a warm, nurturing environment where children learn, play, and grow. Combining Spanish immersion with early childhood education, we help children develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

With a maximum of 10 children, Mi Mundo offers personalized care that respects each child's unique needs and pace of development. Our small-group setting encourages meaningful connections, individual attention, and a safe, supportive learning experience.

Our full-time program follows the TFI Methodology, integrating three essential pillars: bilingual learning, cultural identity, and character development. Born in Celaya, Mexico, I discovered my passion for early childhood education as a young babysitter before becoming a preschool teacher. Moving to Canada at 19 deepened my appreciation for cultural identity and diversity. These experiences inspired me to develop the TFI Methodology and create a franchise program that brings its educational philosophy to more children and families.

From managing multi-classroom childcare operations at UBC to operating her own Spanish-immersion childcare centre since 2019, Thania combines educational expertise with business leadership. Her experience spans regulatory compliance, financial management, curriculum development, and team mentorship.

As an author and mother of two, Thania understands the importance of connecting learning at school with life at home. Through her MamiPollo publishing imprint, she has created children's books and educational videos that encourage empathy, positive habits, good manners, and character development.
